Ricnel Logistics Ltd ("Ricnel", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
We collect: basic analytics about how visitors use this website; information you submit through our quote wizard, contact form, or duty estimator, including your name, company, email, phone number, KRA PIN where provided, and details about your cargo or vehicle; shipping and customs documents you upload with a quote request, such as invoices, packing lists, and transport documents; and contact details you give us when booking a courier, clearance, or freight shipment.
We use this information to respond to your enquiries and quote requests, to provide courier, customs clearance, freight forwarding, and related services, to lodge customs declarations on your behalf where you have engaged us to do so, to communicate with you about your shipment, and to meet our own legal and regulatory obligations.
We keep quote requests, shipment records, and related documents for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet statutory recordkeeping obligations under Kenyan customs and tax law, after which they are archived or deleted. Contact form enquiries that do not lead to a shipment are retained for a reasonable period to allow follow-up, then deleted.
To clear your cargo, we share the necessary details with the Kenya Revenue Authority and other government systems, including KenTrade's single window platform, as required to lodge declarations and pay duties on your behalf. We may also share information with shipping lines, airlines, port and airport authorities, and other service providers involved in moving your cargo. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Under the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to request that inaccurate data be corrected, to request deletion where we are not legally required to retain it, and to object to certain uses of your data.
